WELCOME
TO THE MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING
LABORATORY
The Medical Image Processing Laboratory of Vanderbilt University’s
School of Engineering pursues research on the improvement of medical
diagnosis and therapy via imaging. Primary current research projects lie in
the area of image segmentation, image registration, image-guided surgery,
and image acquisition. Faculty and graduate students in the laboratory work
in close collaboration with colleagues in the Center for Technology Guided Therapy
and in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
