David R. Linn is a Senior System Administrator for the Vanderbilt University Division of Information Technology (VUIT). He is a part of the Distributed Technology Services (DTS) group serving the School of Engineering. General responibilities are support for research, instructional and administrative computing throughout the School. Specific job responsibilities include maintaining the VUSE electronic mail system (VUSEMail), supporting the VUSE World-Wide Web servers, and managing a software distribution and support service for the the VUSE user community. -->
David is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and of its Computer Society and its Engineering in Medecine and Biology Society. David is also a member of USENIX, the Advanced Computing Systems Association, and of its special technical group, SAGE, the System Administrators Guild. He is the Vanderbilt campus liaison for the USENIX University Outreach program.
